Maharaji is a title of honor given to Prem Rawat for the work he has done in bringing inner peace to hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. Maharaji began teaching as a child, between the ages of 4 and 8.  Shortly thereafter, he assumed the work of his father - the teacher before him in his lineage - and proceeded to introduce the Western World to the concept of a heart-based reality in the human struggle for finding joy and peace in everyday life.  Today, as Maharaji continues teaching and spreading his message, the world continues to benefit from 5 decades of enlightenment and inspiration from his simple and heartfelt initiative.  The following extract is from one of Maharaji's presentations given when he was 14 years old.

 

There are many paths

Many, many paths ...

 

 

 

 

One is blue, one is red, one is green.

All seem beautiful.

 

 

 

But there is one path which we can hardly look at

Because it is so bright.

 

 

People who are really people, people who are really humans

Walk on it

  

 

 

 

And people who are not humans but are cowards

Walk on the green, red, yellow paths.

 

 

But the man who walks on that bright, shining path

Always gets the brightness ...
